Gita: for crisis in Relationship and Ethics in governance ( this is theme of certificate course started in MS University from 25.8.17. ) I was fortunate to present in its inaugural function with Swami Shri Parmatmanandaji of Arsh vidyamandir Rajkot( conveyor of Acharya Dharma Sabha ) and Uni VC Shri Parimalji, course director and organiser Tusharji and Jigar Innamdar. Here are few point I will like to convey in this theme

I am very happy that MS Uni has started this course which is very vital for anybody. Gita is useful not for spiritual life onl but it show gudlines to day to day life and social well beings and ultimate nation building too. I am very thankful for orgainser to invite me in its inauguration.
Gita:This is not only religious book, Not even political too
Its guidelines to Humanity, It crosses all barriers of religion
Here Arjun asked all questions related to today, before 5000 years and we got answer which is applicable to all forever, here there is no specific message to single individual but for all.
Gita is successful manual, new paradigm, new perspective, successful leadership and motivational manual
Arjuna got; skill, Military training, technology, professionalism, what where and when and why and how to do things from Guru Drona
But he got Will to fight, to come out from crisis, emotional and mental unrest, attitude building, advice for constitutional duty, and last what to do now from Lord Krishna
GITA is motivational seminar for ever, not required to change with time
Its timeless wisdom applicable to all the time, all the place and to all circumstances.
Brahma formed all including "bandhan' Bond who was not given place anywhere and he told Sambandh' Relationship" and welcomed by all

Life is like Drama
Where we all have to play role of our own
But we are interrelated, inter dependent and inter connected
Crisis do occur, but Hindu philosophy find its way out from it
Way for that is from Gita
In life we get so many times situations like, Battle filed, challenges, confusions and indecisiveness
Here right value is shown by Gita.
We live in this world and every day we come across
1. Material things
2. Living beings
3. Various circumstances, situations, experiences and events
There are all chances we get crisis in relationship so many times. But our spiritual science and our scriptures tell the way to comes out of these. Let us today think in perspective of Gita's message to human kind.
crisis in relationship:Perceptions and response are different which create crisis
Good or Bad; Right or Wrong
There is no bar to any individual in this era: whether poor or rich
Literate or illiterate
Peon to Boss
Politicians or social workers
Crisis does happen whether we like or not, we know or don't
Crisis is nothing but reaction to things around us
It is different according to time, place and people and may change
Also depends upon maturity and its absence
Knowledge application gives rise to change in its response
If knowledge is not assimilated with us then responses varies
E.g We know there is no happiness from objects as learnt from scripture, logics, experience still we feel there can be little with objects so, we go on to try to get it from it
Examples: mad man children and sweet distribution expectation from land lord
How to live with living being, material things and situation is taught by Gita
We should use our knowledge for action to build good relationship
It is told in Gita " ज्ञातवाशासतर विधानोकतम् कमँ कतृमिहाहँसि " Knowledge is to use for practical things. We should brig it in routine life and apply .
We suffer in life about crisis in relationship due to
(1) Thoughtless actions
(2) Actions less thoughts e.g to wake up early
We know about Gita and its message but do we apply in such situations? Question arises. So many times we heard people saying
"I have gone through whole Gita"
But "Has Gita gone though you?" Let Gita has to go through us. Example: Gits in cloths bundle
Gita teaches us to come out and balances in crisis of relationship in all aspects, with all people and all situations by saying to keep
समता ( Equinity):
To keep equinity with
(a) Objects and
(b) Situation, experiences and events
(c) Living beings,
(a)Objects: समलोषटा कांचनोहा
To keep same feeling with Mud, stone and Gold: Samata equinity with all.
All things have place in life, all have got importance too and all have value, we should respect all but no to give undue importance to any. Rahiman: Needle and Sword
(b) Situation:
Joy or sorrow at Mind level
Heat or cold at Body level
Honour or dishonour at intellectual level we should keep equality
Freedom from personal likes, dislikes we should remain same. To keep free from Rag dvesh
Remember" Change is changeless law in world"
Accept both situation
Gita told in 3 ways: Bhakti (Devotee) accept it as everything is God will
: Karma (Actions) its result of my actions
: Ghana (Knowledge) depends upon how we have been brought up and appears to us and treated by us. xaNao saRYTa xaNao taRYTa
(c) Living beings: सुरेन मित्रा , सम बुद्धि
We come across many people with us but to keep equinity with all. People who come to us may be grouped like
Well wishers शुभचछक, Friends मित्र दुश्मन Enemey with positive attitude, enemy with negative attitude, उदासीन ( Indifference), मध्यस्थ, द्वेषी, बंधु, प्रिय , साधु
People with near relation or far one. Learn to accept all. As we like flowers and fruits in garden. We cannot expect same flowers and fruits in any garden. If it is then it not garden at all. Same way we cannot have single type of animals in zoo and safari. We do find varieties there. Same way Fire and cold too. All have their importance. Fire is hot but useful in cooking and light. Never compare all. Try to live with different people at different times with understanding. Tolerance is way to be in equinity. Try to change ourselves. Samata, Never complain. We are not to give unauthorised advice to any. As we want other persons to accept us, let in same way accept them.

Ethic word is derived from Greek word 'Ethos" (
Moral character) Social expectation of people behaving in accordance and accepted principles) मूल्य , चरित्र
Ethical failures usually due to lack of character Example Prahlad and Indra taking away his Shil

Root cause of ethical failure and to avoid them
Main theme for good governance and ethics to keep in Governance is
To do ones duty with detachment and for welfare of others
Ultimate by products is self welfare
One should not wait for fruits of action
Important virtues taught in Gita for good and ethical administration are:
(1) Work with un agitated mind
(2) Firm mindedness
(3) Disinterestedness
(4) Contentment with one's own duty
(5) Indifference to pain and pleasure
(6) Being same to friends/enemy/favour/disagree
Obey to own Dharma (duty) and remain faithful to people
Our ethics in governance is based on Eternal values, moral principles; method is self consciousness and spirit centred
Concept of Gita and teaching for Governance are:
Merciful, Obedient, truthfull, equanity, sanity, magnanimes, mind, clean, simple, charitable, peaceful, not greedy, and possessive, steady and determined, sober, determined, humble, friendly, expert and concise
To cultivate and to maintain to overcome KAMA (selfish, lust of power, greed and dishonesty, corruption)
To discharge duty without favour and fervour: When Arjuna refused to fight, Krishna told body and soul are different to do duty
Administrator should discharge duty in same way. Rise above material interest, unprejudiced
Swadharma= selfless duty
Administrator should to be Rajshree through Yoga: raja+Rishi (Synonyms of selflessness and sanities, not to consider personal gain
Rajshree: Power, social responsibility, dedication, practical efficiency ( IV 1-2)
Governance has right to work, कमँणये वाधिकारसते
but not of fruits (control of outcome),मा फ़्लेमिंग कदाचन
no control of root cause of fruits, मा ते सगदसतवकमँति
No choice to revive in action मा कमँफलहेतुभू
सवधमँ लोकसंगरह Holding together wolrd with own duty
Think that you are doer, you are doing according to nature and this is Yagna Karma Yoga to God
Sheri Aurbindo "The field of Human actions" is in the field of dharma
Gita is manual for crisis management in relationship and for ethics in governance
Gita is not only to see, darshan and Puja but to read and apply in life. Example Lahore business man Gita in family.
Dharma is life supporting, life enhancing value system. In crisis one should do right course of
(1) Actions: forget weakness, of mind and heart (II3)
(2) Unless we decide right course of action crisis becomes more severe, undesionness-right or wrong, unfavoured
(3) Gita say have thoughtful analysis, find advise, understand situations, ,and find proper equipments
(4) Understand crisis, working under which shift of frames of values, law governing it, equipments and thoughts to transform
(5) Forget success, failure and desire for success remove fear for failures.
(6) Integrate mind, body and heart. Firm determination, clear sense of direction.
(7) Remove mind from fixed frames of preferences
(8) Become all intrusive, loving and compassionate
Krishna is brother, brother in law, friends, philosopher, Guru, chariot driver, helper, guide and crisis manger to Arjuna. SO keep nearby person like Krishna who can help me multiple angles.
Connect our own mind, self and conscious to Lord Krishna who is cosmic Trans credential mind conscious
Forget self and rise above it
In Short: life is battle field, Crisis to evolve in wards and outwards, helped by love
In crisis: remembers Dharma (E.g. Arjuna to fight) Never hesitate to ask, take help and get opinion from others
Relation should not be obstacle to duty, one has to fight oneself to over comes crisis
Develop relationship like student teachers without ego (IV 34)
Person or society never to discriminate from others (IV18)
Person and his karmas don't expect fruits, when desire done get fulfilled control anger
Remain in stable situation to take proper decision
Brahma, Atma, soul is above all relation (V4)
Our temporary relationship with destroyable is not imp but permanent with God is needed.

બનાસકાંઠા ના પૂર ગ્રસિત ખારીયા ગામે
મારે રા. સ્વ . સંઘ ના મહેસાણા વિભાગના સહકાયઁવાહ શ્રી પરેશભાઈસાથે બનાસકાંઠા ના પૂર ગ્રસિત વિસતારની મુલાકાત તથા આ કાયઁમા લાગેલ કાયઁકતાઁ ને મળવાના ક્રમમાં બનાસકાંઠા નદીના કાઠે રહેલ ખારિયા ગામે જવાનું થયું . નાનું નાજુકલુ ખેતી કરતા પરિવારો ના ગામને બનાસના નીરે અસ્ત વ્યસ્ત કરી નાંખ્યું . પરંતુ ફીનીકસ પંખીની જેમ બેઠા થવાની ભારતીય સમાજની રીતે ગ્રામ્ય જનો બહાર આવી રહ્યા છે. બધાના સુખદુખની વાતો, પાણીની આવક, બધાના પ્રયત્નો , સંઘ સ્વયંસેવકોની પહેલ વહેલા પહોંચવાની વાત, મદદ ના વહેણ તથા સરકારી તંત્રની કામગીરી ની બંધાએ પ્રસંશા કરી.
ગામમાં પહોંચેલી મદદમાં સૌ પ્રથમ જરુરીયાત વાળા ને પહેલા આપો ની મમત, મારા સ્વમાન ને હું જાળવીશ ની વાત, સૌ સુખદુખ વહેંચી લેવું , અમારા કરતા આમને વધુ જરુર છે નો આગ્રહ આંખોને ઉઠીને વળગે તેના હતા . ધન્ય છે આ ધરા ના પુત્રો ને.
ગામના કિસાન સંઘ ના શ્રી કિતીઁસિંહ , સરપંચ, તથા શિક્ષક પ્રહ્લાદભાઇ ને મળવાનું થયું .
